Distribution of 300 red latex swim caps with silk screened star pattern copied from «Tonsure», Man Ray's famous picture of the back of Duchamp's head.
The project took place in a rationalist public swimming pool in Milan, where swim caps are mandatory, and created a random swimmers' team. Duchamp and Man Ray's somewhat elitist and hermetic symbol was turned into a sport symbol.
After the exhibition the swimmers could keep the caps for later use.

Distribusjon av 300 røde latexbadehetter med serigrafert stjernemønster kopiert etter Duchamps bakhode i det berømte portrettet til Man Ray, «Tonsure».
Arbeidet fant sted i et berømt rasjonalistisk offentlig svømmeanlegg i Milano (der det er påbudt med badehette), og skapte et tilfeldig sammensatt svømmelag. Det litt elitistiske og utilgjengelige symbolet til Duchamp og Man Ray ble omgjort til et folkelig sportssymbol.
Etter utstillingen kunne svømmerne beholde badehettene og bruke dem igjen.
